EtherFuture: Impacting Imaginations

[Dance of Heart’s Otaku Pride!]

Dance of Heart + Otaku Pride

I have some very awesome news to announce regarding EtherFuture’s masthead project, Dance of Heart. However, I want to preface this announcement with some details of what led up to that. This will also answer a few questions of what EF has been focusing on in the last month or so.

In case I never mentioned this, we (EtherFuture) debuted at AnimeNEXT ’09 with a growing friend of mine who was launching his own project. Building up EtherFuture’s relations with that brand new community site, Otaku Pride (0P) has been a priority of mine as I produce scripts and give creative direction for Dance of Heart. I have participated a great deal in the creation of content, bug reports, input for site improvements, and become good friends with Jim, the founder, and his close-knit team in the process.

In return, Dance of Heart not only has its own discussion/update topic that I maintain, but has become a favorite read among the 0P Staff. Dance of Heart has been graciously plugged on every episode of the Otaku Pride Podcast to date, and notifies Otaku Pride followers of our updates through Twitter. Otaku Pride is growing, and EF is highly supportive of their endeavor which has benefitted Dance of Heart’s opportunity for public exposure more than I could have asked for.

And now for the big news.

Later this afternoon, the creators of Dance of Heart – myself and KOU – are going to be special guests on the fifth installment of the Otaku Pride Podcast! This is something to be excited about, as it gives KOU and I the chance to really share with a listening audience about how serious we are about this story, its characters, and ourselves. As this is our first ever “live” spot, I’m looking forward to exclusively answering questions with KOU’s artistic insight as a compliment. It’s sure to be a great time!

If you would prefer to follow a blog rather than a community, the Otaku Pride Blog is another alternative for keeping up with podcast releases. You can also subscribe to the podcast via iTunes if that’s more your cup of tea.

Expect an update in the coming days with a link to the podcast! We’d love to hear what you think of it and Dance of Heart overall. ^_^
