EtherFuture was formed so that we would have an umbrella under which to craft and share our ideas. So naturally, we also have in-house projects that we will make available to those who enjoy our work. Our imaginations never stop running wild. So please take a look at what projects EF has in store. ^_^
Dance of Heart [DoH] – As the story that helped sparked the idea to create EtherFuture in the first place six years after its conception, DoH is EF’s masthead project. The webmanga follows the sixteen-year old female protagonist, Miyaki Namida, as she strives for the top position in her class and searches for her identity. Upon discovering KOKORO NO DANSU, her lifestyle begins to take an unexpected turn that she, in all her stubborn intelligence, never predicted. Drawn in dynamic, shonen-style artwork and written with shoujo undertones, Dance of Heart is a fun-filled journey filled with comedy, parody, action, and a bit of tasteful fanservice. Interested? Otaku Pride Themed Layouts – Since the beginning, EF and OP have supported each others’ efforts in various ways. As OP continues to grow and stand on its own, EF sees another chance to start up another project. ALEX will be going solo, utilizing his illustrative design skills to supply OP with a variety of character-themed layouts. After having much success with his Miku Hatsune theme, he is currently aiming to create a series of VOCALOID themes. Read the full story.
Doujinshi Project – One of EtherFuture’s top goals is to produce a successful, original doujinshi. Our first doujin has been decided. The storyline will be scripted by ALEX, and XION will be producing the artwork. Our goal is to have this complete by mid Winter in time for a Spring preview, followed by a Summer public release.
